Cultivated on the slopes of Alto Monferrato since 1400, the Tonda Gentile del Piemonte represents an excellence of the territory. The Piedmont Tonda Gentile Hazelnut has found the ideal territory for its development in the rolling hills of Monferrato, close to the Ligurian Apennines.

The lush hazelnut groves that extend across this strip of land, where Piedmont embraces Liguria, have the ideal environment in which to flourish and grow strong, thanks to the area's special microclimate. The soil characterised by sandy and clayey mineral content, combined with the typical piedmont climate, also influenced by the Maritime Alps, creates the perfect environment for making the hazelnut a concentrate of health and flavour.

The cold winters and warm summers of this area contribute to the hazelnut's intense and authentic flavour, and a concentration of nutrients that make it a true elixir of health.

OUR PRODUCTION

Vacuum packed hazelnuts

Carefully selected, carefully calibrated and masterfully roasted hazelnuts retain their aroma, fragrance and crunchiness, through the use of vacuum-packed bags. Heat sealing and the absence of air keep their freshness and rich, aromatic flavour intact.

The transparent bag makes it possible to immediately check the quality of a Tonda Trilobata Gentile del Piemonte hazelnut, because only when the hazelnut reaches a warm golden colour it is roasted to the right degree.
